The gameplay and aesthetics are inspired by "bungee-style shooters," aka Halo and Destiny, with futuristic environments, weapons, and abilities.
• FPS mechanics go beyond simple "aim and shoot" mechanics. Players can spend points on different abilities that allow them to teleport, double jump, sprint faster, and more. Most abilities revolve around movement. It is the movement in EV.IO that sets it apart from other FPS games.
• Breakthrough graphics in the browser that strike the right balance between form and function. Hardware scaling graphics: play on lousy Chromebooks and screaming machines alike.
• Multiple game modes: deathmatch and team deathmatch at launch, with elimination mode coming soon and more modes in the future.
